Problem: PSTN call forwarding with SPA3102 - Voxilla VoIP Forum

My SPA3102 is set up to make all outgoing calls via my Asterisk on an external vServer. Forwarding of incomming calls on the Asterisk are handled within the Asterisk. I tried now to set up callforwarding for incomming PSTN calls. Here I encounter problems.

The default way for forwarding PSTN calls is with *72DestinationNumber. When I tried this it seemed to have worked; the particular telephone rung. However, when I tried to show how it works, it didn't anymore. I reloaded and restarted all equipment but it wouldn't work again. All subsequent trials using different options failed. Since the DestinationNumber is an outgoing call, it should go via the Asterisk. On the CLI I notice that Asterisk sends only repeatedly this message: [2010-11-02 12:38:40] WARNING[19561]: chan_sip.c:2013 retrans_pkt: Maximum retries exceeded on transmission 13bced6d-9eb8dae3@192.168.1.30 for seqno 101 (Critical Response) -- See doc/sip-retransmit.txt.It looks like the connection is screwed up.

Incomming PSTN calls would not necessarily have to be forwarded via the Asterisk. May be it is easier to do it via the PSTN trunk. But how could this be done without disturbing (the dial plan for) the normal outgoing calls which are all routed via the Asterisk?

Has someone here an idea of what might go wrong and how it possibly could be made working? Thanks for your help!
